TuxlerVPN Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Introduction

TuxlerVPN is committed to providing a secure, private, and high-performing VPN service to all users while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards. This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines prohibited activities and usage restrictions that apply when accessing or using TuxlerVPN services.

By using TuxlerVPN, you agree to comply with this AUP, as well as our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of your access to the service.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use TuxlerVPN for any of the following prohibited activities:

2.1. Illegal or Unlawful Activities

  • Violating any applicable local, state, national, or international laws, including but not limited to U.S., EU (GDPR, ePrivacy Directive), and Asian (PDPA, APPI, etc.) regulations.
  • Engaging in, promoting, or distributing content related to fraud, identity theft, child exploitation, terrorism, or any form of illegal activity.
  • Using the service to facilitate drug trafficking, arms dealing, human trafficking, or other criminal enterprises.

2.2. Intellectual Property Violations

  • Downloading, sharing, or distributing copyrighted content without proper authorization.
  • Circumventing or attempting to bypass Digital Rights Management (DRM) protections.
  • Engaging in software piracy or unauthorized distribution of licensed content.

2.3. Network Abuse & Security Violations

  • Using TuxlerVPN to launch or participate in Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks.
  • Engaging in hacking, phishing, or unauthorized access to systems, networks, or accounts.
  • Distributing malware, viruses, Trojans, spyware, or other harmful code.
  • Interfering with, disrupting, or attacking TuxlerVPN’s infrastructure or other network services.

2.4. Fraudulent & Deceptive Practices

  • Impersonating any person, entity, or organization without authorization.
  • Engaging in fraudulent transactions, including credit card fraud and chargebacks.
  • Misrepresenting or falsifying identities, documents, or contact information.

2.5. Spam & Unwanted Communications

  • Sending unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or fraudulent emails.
  • Engaging in advertising, marketing, or promotions that violate anti-spam laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR, PDPA).

2.6. Abuse of VPN Services

  • Engaging in excessive bandwidth consumption that negatively impacts service performance for other users.
  • Using TuxlerVPN for reselling, redistributing, or sharing accounts without authorization.
  • Running public-facing VPN or proxy services using TuxlerVPN’s infrastructure.

2.7. Circumvention of Restrictions

  • Attempting to bypass geo-restrictions or location-based content limitations in violation of third-party policies.
  • Using the VPN to access or evade government-mandated restrictions in jurisdictions where VPN use is regulated.
  • Attempting to avoid detection, monitoring, or legal obligations by masking identity for malicious intent.

3. Fair Use Policy

TuxlerVPN implements a Fair Use Policy to ensure stable and reliable service for all users. Unreasonable usage that negatively impacts the network’s stability, speed, or accessibility may result in account restrictions or suspension.

4. Compliance with Regional Laws

TuxlerVPN operates under U.S. law while complying with GDPR (EU), PDPA (Singapore, Thailand), APPI (Japan), CCPA (California), and other regional data privacy laws. Users must ensure their compliance with local laws regarding VPN use.

5. Enforcement & Consequences

Violations of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of service, as well as legal action if necessary. TuxlerVPN reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement agencies, regulators, and affected parties in cases of serious violations.

6. Reporting Violations

If you suspect any user is violating this AUP, please report it to abuse@tuxlervpn.com with detailed information.

7. Amendments

TuxlerVPN reserves the right to update or modify this Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the latest version.
